Collage / 4th-6th Grade

Join in with this exploration of color theory, color, texture and pattern. We will be creating our own papers to use in a large scale collage on wooden board. We will reference the work of Eric Carle (The Very Hungry Caterpillar) whose techniques are much more sophisticated than his simple children's books appear at first glance.

We will also investigate storytelling with collage in a short book project of our own.

Classes will operate with a minimum of 10 and maximum of 15 students

PROJECTS WILL INCLUDE
Developing our own textured papers and designs to create original collages, using collage in storytelling
