Masterpieces / 6th-8th Grade

What's the big deal with masterpieces? Why are they so good, anyway?

Come along for a whirlwind tour of major artistic breakthroughs. Students will create pieces of their own to see what being a Master is really like. We will be using paint, mixed media and sculpture materials throughout the week, with each day focussing on a new topic.

Students should wear "messy" clothes or bring a large men's t-shirt to throw over their clothing. Some materials used in Summer Art Club may stain.

Classes will operate with a minimum of 10 and maximum of 15 students

Pop Art, Expressionism, Modern Sculpture, Impressionism

* You will receive an email a week before Summer Art Club starts with more information about drop-off, timing and other logistics. We will also collect your student’s name and age at that time.
