Printmaking / 6th-8th grade
Printmaking is a great art form if you don't think you are "good at drawing". (It's also fun for those who do love drawing!)
We will work from both the imagination and reference pictures to create a series of relief prints. Students will learn how to transfer a design, carve, ink and print a block. Special techniques like gradients, reductions and jigsaw prints will also be taught.
Printmaking a like doing art in reverse, a fun way to stretch your brain and your creative muscles.
